Citizen Space was one of the original spaces of the coworking movement. It was born out of the desire to provide a place for independents to work in a collaborative space - getting them out of their jammies and into a positive, productive, cafe like environment.
We opened V.1 of Citizen Space in 2006 (just upstairs from the current space) and V.2 in 2009. At 4.5 years old, she is a pretty amazing legacy.
The time has come, however, to pass along the legacy to a new owner - one who can take CS to the next level. This party is not only to celebrate the past 4.5 years of CS and the Coworking movement, but also welcome Toby Morning and his associates to taking it over to the next level.
There will be beer and wine and food and music. Bring your friends. Help celebrate the future of Coworking and Citizen Space.
